Goodwin Brothers Const. Co. contracted with Great River Greenway to reconstruct Leonor K. Sullivan Blvd, downtown St. Louis below the Gateway Arch, along the central riverfront. This scope included the concrete retaining walls and roadway as well as the architectural concrete for the new lighting system supports.
The project was a significant improvement to the downtown area adjacent to the Gateway Arch and part of an overall makeover of downtown. The project had significant challenges being vulnerable to the Mississippi River flooding and existing unforeseen utility conflicts along the riverfront.
