Early in Goodwin Brothers' second generation, the young brothers decided to expand into the construction of water projects. With sweeping amendments to the Clean Water Act in 1972 the brothers saw an opportunity to expand the business that their father founded. The third generation has further expanded the brothers' vision into larger, more complex projects using different delivery methods. Since the early 1970’s, Goodwin Brothers has focused on the water sector and performed hundreds of millions of dollars in projects. From new greenfield facilities to $100 million plus expansions, Goodwin Brothers has the people, equipment and know-how that only comes with doing this work for over 40 years. We get a great deal of satisfaction at Goodwin Brothers knowing that our projects have improved the water quality for millions of people for generations to come.
Our Earthmoving endeavors began in the late 1980’s when we were awarded the contract for Springfield, Missouri’s new wastewater treatment plant. To construct the plant, we first had to move a landfill. Since then, we’ve moved millions of yards of material with projects ranging from subdivision slope repair to moving more than a million yards of material to construct a landfill. Over the last 30 plus years of earthmoving, we have developed the knowledge and resources to tackle any challenge. We continue to improve by fully embracing all the latest that technology has to offer. GPS machine controls give our operators the confidence to run faster and more accurately than ever before, while our Drone technology allows us to map an entire site and have the information to our crews in a matter of hours instead of the weeks it took in the past.
We began performing Industrial projects in the late 1970’s for The Doe Run Company at their milling facilities near Viburnum, MO. We have the resources and ability to provide you with a full service project from design and construction to commissioning and maintenance.
