FIrst Baptist Church of Arnold required additional space for a thriving congregation, Goodwin Brothers was there to deliver. The 70,000 square foot Family Life Center nearly doubled existing facilities. New facilities included flex space for classrooms or large events, commercial kitchen, cafe, workout space, racketball courts, basketall court, elevated running track and shell space for future use.
The over 20 acre site required signifcant grade changes adjacent to the existing facilities. This resulted in careful staging and replacement of nearly all parking. in addition to normal construction activites, Goodwin Brothers was also tasked with relocating the parishioner’s house to a new location on the site. The project site has nearly 75′ of elevation change which require extensive grading and retaining wall work for expanded parking and roadways.
